The Ridge’s video ad: “5 in 1 Powerbank”

Running 137 daysFacebook and InstagramWinner

How it opens

“Charge iPhones with magsafe, Qi phones, USB-C wired, lightning wired AND an Apple Watch and get 10,000mAh in the palm of your hand.”

Angle: Feature

Why it works

It turns a crowded feature list into one clear promise, and the closing line is easy to remember. Naming exact charging types and a capacity figure makes it feel specific and trustworthy, and a video is a natural way to show several connections working. The data also shows it has run 137 days, is still active, and sits on 8 active ads across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads, so the brand keeps putting budget behind it, which points to it performing well.

Who it speaks to: People who own an iPhone, Android phone or Apple Watch and want one portable charger for travel or daily carry instead of a bag of cables.

How it’s built
  1. Hook: Names the devices it can charge, starting with iPhone and MagSafe, so the viewer spots their own device.
  2. Proof: Adds the 10,000mAh capacity as a concrete spec and says it fits in the palm of your hand.
  3. Payoff: Sums it up as 'One thing to pack, five ways to power', which turns the feature list into a simple benefit.
  4. Offer: The description says 'Bundle and Save' to hint at a deal without giving a price.
  5. CTA: The 'Shop now' button sends people to the brand's own site.
What to borrow
  • Name the exact devices or use cases your product covers in the first line so each viewer sees themselves in it.
  • Wrap a list of features in one short, rhythmic line like 'one thing, five ways' that sums up the benefit.
  • Use one hard spec, such as a capacity or size, to make the claim feel concrete.
  • Put a light offer cue like 'Bundle and Save' in the description to add a reason to act without crowding the main message.

The transcript

I've seen plenty of power banks over my 15 years of reviewing tech, but this Ridge one quickly became a favorite. So this, a 10,000 mAh battery that's already this small, is pretty clutch, but it's also pretty loaded. Built-in braided USB-C cable and lightning cable for fast charging, that just makes sense, but it can also do wireless charging. And you better believe, if it's an iPhone, it can also do MagSafe. And it also comes in three colors, matte black, matte olive, and I guess perfect for the new iPhone 17 Pro color, base camp orange. And yes, in case you're wondering, I could also do wired and wireless charging at the same time from this thing. But it's even more loaded than that. In the center here, right in the middle, that is actually an Apple Watch charger. On the back, it also has a kickstand, so you can charge the phone while it's propped up, maybe watching a video or even just chilling in standby mode at your desk. And anytime you want to see your battery percentage, you guessed it, there's a screen at the bottom. So this thing is basically portable peace of mind in three different matte colors, all for 70 bucks. Technically still everyday carry. They don't miss.
