Framer’s video ad: “Framer just made AI useful for designers”

Running 103 daysFacebook and InstagramWinner

How it opens

“Framer just made AI useful for designers”

Angle: Authority

Why it works

It reads like a peer recommendation in a casual voice ('coupla', 'supafast'), which feels more trustworthy than brand copy. It names a specific gap in competing tools, so the claim feels earned. The comment-for-prompts offer gives a low-effort way to engage and lists concrete outcomes. The data also shows it has run 103 days on 7 active ads with a Winner score of 91, which suggests the approach holds up over time.

Who it speaks to: Professional web designers who have tried AI design tools and found them aimed at non-designers.

How it’s built
  1. Hook: Announces that AI has finally become useful for designers.
  2. Credibility: A creator says they have used Framer for web design for a couple of years.
  3. Proof: Calls it the most design-driven tool and says the Framer agents are genuinely useful.
  4. Contrast: Says other AI design tools mostly help non-designers, while Framer is shaped for pros working fast.
  5. Lead magnet: Comment 'Framer' to get a DM with the prompts for sticky navigation, staggered text animation, sticky on scroll sections and a fully responsive build.
  6. CTA: The Sign up button sends people to framer.com.
What to borrow
  • Open with a news-style claim aimed at one skeptical group so the right people feel the ad is for them.
  • Use a creator's long-term experience as proof, and keep their casual voice so it doesn't sound like a brand ad.
  • Position against what rival products get wrong for your audience instead of listing generic features.
  • Offer a useful freebie tied to specific results, and use a comment trigger to boost engagement and capture warm leads.

The transcript

Wow! That was my general reaction to Framer Agents. Most AI design tools tend to help non-designers generate quick UI screens, whereas Framer Agents actually helps designers. Here's four ways I use Framer Agents to level up this website for a client and save me a bunch of time. I converted the navigation bar from static into an on-scroll animated component. Then I wanted to update all of the text animation. Instead of clicking through every layer, it can update in a single prompt. Instead of having a static section here, I wanted to add this on-scroll animation where the cards and again it does it in a single prompt. Now once we've got that desktop version created with a single prompt in Framer Agents, it converted this into a fully responsive website. If you comment Framer, I will share all of the prompts that I use for this super fast.
