The transcript
111 days ago, I went against the Australian dream. Instead of putting a deposit down for a house, I decided to put every single dollar I'd made into building the Red Bull of cup noodles. But how did this all play out? On the 8th of January, a 20-foot container full of gochu ramen arrived, three times more noodles than our previous two drops, and a brand new flavor no one had ever tried before. This was an all-in bet. But even as a uni dropout with no investors, no team, no million-dollar marketing budgets, I still had conviction, because one look down the noodle aisle tells you everything. Big billion-dollar brands have spent decades selling the same cheap junk that doesn't fuel anyone that actually trains. And as someone who gyms, runs, and eats clean, they're not something I'd ever eat. So I launched something different, a cup of ramen with the macros of a protein shake or protein bar that actually fuels athletes. But the problem was, no athlete had ever tried them at this point yet. So I decided to prove it myself that gochu does fuel you. Plus, promote the new spicy beef flavor. And on January 15th, I ran 100 kilometers in a chili suit eating nothing but gochu ramen. And I can confirm they fueled me for the whole entire run. But after making the biggest financial bet of my life, and now also physically putting it all on the line for this drop, the real question is, was it actually all worth it? You're gonna have to follow along to find out when I post part two.
