Salon ads that fill the quiet days and keep clients coming back
Show the work
Transformations stop the scroll: a colour correction, a fresh fade, a set of nails, a brow shape. Use your own photos and clips from real clients who agreed to be shown, in good light, and tag the stylist. Stories, Reels and TikTok suit this best: the before, the process and the reveal.
Fill the quiet days
Most salons are full on Fridays and Saturdays and quiet early in the week. Advertise the quiet slots, not the busy ones.
- An offer on a quiet day, for one service: a treatment added free to a midweek cut and colour.
- A new-client offer with a clear next step: book the next appointment before you leave.
- A late or early slot for people who work office hours.
- A stylist's own availability: "[name] has three spaces this Tuesday".
Seasons and occasions
Book the moments ahead: weddings and prom, the holidays, summer colour, back to school. Ads that name the occasion ("Wedding hair trials for next summer") reach people at the planning stage.
Mind the rules about looks
Meta's rules don't allow an ad to assert or imply someone's physical health or other personal attributes. A line like "Hate your thinning hair?" talks about the reader's body; "Hair thickening treatment, now at [salon]" talks about yours. The second is kinder and safer.
Meta's health and wellness rules add more for cosmetic products and procedures (lashes, brows, skin treatments): those ads must be shown only to people 18 or older, before-and-after pictures included, and they can't put down how someone looks or a part of their body.

How Adwright makes your ads
- 1
Paste your salon's website or booking page. Adwright reads your services, prices, photos and reviews and builds your brand kit, so the ads carry your salon's look.
- 2
It looks at the salons you compete with, reads their offers and, where they advertise, their ads in Meta's Ad Library, so you see what everyone in your area is promoting and where you can stand apart.
- 3
It makes ads for Stories, Reels, TikTok and the feeds, each at the platform's size with the post copy written, and video ads in several styles. Make a new set for each occasion whenever you need one.
You download your ads (pictures as PNG files) with their post copy and run them from your own ad account, such as Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager. Your ad budget is between you and the platform: an Adwright plan pays for making the ads.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Real transformations from your own clients, shown with their permission, with one clear offer and an easy way to book. Short videos of the reveal do especially well in Stories, Reels and TikTok.
Advertise those days specifically, with one offer for one service, and run the ad a few days ahead. Naming the stylist and the day makes it feel like a real gap in a real diary, because it is.
Wording that implies something about the reader's body or health is the usual trouble. Describe your service and its result, not the reader's problem, and keep before-and-after claims to what you can show.
Yes, with the client's permission, and they're usually your strongest ads. Ask at the end of the appointment, take the photo in good light, and keep a note that they agreed.
