Ads for coaches and course creators that fill the next cohort
Offer a first step, not the course
A cold ad for a full programme asks too much. Offer something useful and free first: a short guide, a checklist, a workshop, a webinar, a first session. It earns the email address and the trust, and the programme is the next step for the people who found it useful.
Your face and your voice
You are the product. Ads with you talking to the camera, teaching one small thing, do what a designed graphic can't: they let people decide whether they like learning from you. Keep one idea per video and end with the free first step.
Specific outcomes, honest claims
"Change your life" means nothing. "Run your first 10k in twelve weeks" or "Price your freelance work with confidence" means something. Be specific about the outcome and honest about what it takes. Avoid promises of income or results you can't back up, and check the platform's rules on claims before you run them.
Meta's rules also don't allow ads that assert or imply personal attributes, including physical or mental health. "Struggling with anxiety?" is the kind of line that gets rejected; "A six-week course in calmer mornings" is about your course, not the reader.
Cohorts and timing
If you run cohorts, give the ads a real deadline: the start date and the places left, when they're true. The new year, September and the weeks before a season (marathons, exams, tax returns) are when people look for help with goals.

How Adwright makes your ads
- 1
Paste your landing page or course page. Adwright reads your offer, your outcomes, your testimonials and your photos and builds your brand kit, so your ads look and sound like you.
- 2
It researches the coaches and courses you compete with: their pages, their offers and, where they advertise, the ads they keep running in Meta's Ad Library, so you see the promises everyone makes and the ones nobody does.
- 3
It makes image ads and video ads in several styles, including talking head, for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, each at the platform's size with the post copy written. Ask the Ad Council whether to lead with the free guide or the workshop.
You download your ads (pictures as PNG files) with their post copy and run them from your own ad account, such as Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager. Your ad budget is between you and the platform: an Adwright plan pays for making the ads.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Usually a free first step: a guide, a workshop or a first session. It's a much smaller ask for someone who doesn't know you yet, and it lets the people who find it useful come to the course themselves.
Two common reasons are wording that implies something about the reader's health or circumstances, and promises of results or income that can't be backed up. Describe what your course teaches and what it takes, and keep claims to what you can show.
Adwright makes video ads in several styles, talking head among them, from your page and brand kit. A real video of you is still worth making too: people buy coaching from a person.
Yes, if you can. People buy coaching from a person, and a short video of you teaching one useful thing lets them decide whether they like learning from you. Keep it simple: good light, clear sound, one idea.
