The transcript

We were inspired to invent the Luminaid Light because we believe light makes a difference. And the alternatives are something like flashlights, which require batteries, kerosene lanterns, or candles, which are dangerous and are fire hazards. Anna and I started Luminaid because we believe light makes a difference. We were inspired to invent the Luminaid Light while we were graduate students in architecture school. The Luminaid Light is a compact, solar-rechargeable lantern that packs really small and weighs just a few ounces. There's a solar panel, rechargeable battery, and it inflates, and it's made of a really durable and weather-resistant material. A storm knocked out our power for two days, but we were ready. The Luminaid Titan gave us light all night and kept our phones charged so we could check on our family members. It's solar-powered, lantern, phone charger, and backup battery in one.
