As his daughter, I loved him, but as a human, I hated him. I hated him for so many reasons, and it scares me that I can still love him at the same time. It doesn't make sense, and I know it doesn't, but that's the fucked up part of it all. When you grow up with a person, see them every day... Hey, depend on them to keep you safe.
