Client ads, researched and on brand: an ad maker for agencies

An agency's bottleneck is rarely ideas. It's the time between a new client's link and a first round of on-brand, researched ads worth testing. Here's how agencies and freelancers can shorten that, what to look for, and how Adwright fits in.

Pitch with real ads

A pitch with the prospect's own brand, offer and competitors in it lands differently from a deck of past work. Paste their link before the meeting and walk in with researched ads in their colours, and the competitor gaps you found.

One client, one project

Keep every client separate, with their own brand and research.

  • A project per client link, each with its own brand kit: colours, fonts and voice read from the client's site.
  • Competitor research per client: who they're up against, what those brands claim and, where available, the ads they keep running in Meta's Ad Library.
  • Angles worth testing, written down, so the client sees why each ad exists.
  • The ads and copy are yours to use in your clients' campaigns.

Volume for testing

Creative testing needs many variations: different angles, formats and platforms. Making them by hand is where agency hours go. Having the first round made for you leaves your team the judgment calls: which angles to run, what to change, what to say to the client.

What clients still need from you

Strategy, media buying, testing discipline and honest reporting. A tool that makes ads doesn't replace that, and the agencies that do well with one use it to spend more time on the work clients can't get anywhere else.

Be open with clients about how the ads are made. Show them the research and the angles first, then the ads, and check every claim against what the client can prove before anything runs: the brand's name is on the ad, and yours is on the advice.

Example hooks for agencies and freelancers

Written for this page as examples, not taken from any business’s ads. Swap the [brackets] for your own town, name and numbers, and only claim what’s true.
  • Pitch

“We made your first ads before this call. Shall we look at them?”

  • Research

“Your three biggest competitors all say the same thing. Here's what they don't.”

  • Speed

“From your link to a first round of ads by [day].”

  • Testing

“[Twelve] angles, [four] platforms, one week of learning.”

  • Retainer

“Fresh ads every month, built on what won last month.”

  • Proof

“Every ad comes with the reason it exists.”

How Adwright makes your ads

  1. 1

Paste a client's link: their homepage, a product page or an app listing. Adwright reads it, builds the client's brand kit, and researches their product, audience and competitors.

  2. 2

It makes image ads in the client's brand at each platform's size, with post copy, and video ads in several styles. Unlimited projects come with every plan, so each client gets their own.

  3. 3

Bring a strategy question to the Ad Council, seven AI ad experts, and get a verdict to discuss with the client. The library of winning ads lets you find a proven ad in the client's niche and make one like it in their brand.

You download your ads (pictures as PNG files) with their post copy and run them from your own ad account, such as Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager. Your ad budget is between you and the platform: an Adwright plan pays for making the ads.

Example ads made by Adwright

Real ads the product made, each from a brand’s own public website. They show what it makes, not anyone’s results.

A made bed in a calm green bedroom, a Stories ad with the word "Millions"
Made by Adwright from Koala’s website (au.koala.com) as an example. Not Koala’s own ad.
A box of high-protein ramen cups under the line "32g of protein per cup", with a Shop now button
Made by Adwright from Rip N Ramen’s website (ripnramen.com) as an example. Not Rip N Ramen’s own ad.
Tangled lines turning into a clean sound wave, under the line "Say it messy. Send it clean."
Made by Adwright from Wispr Flow’s website (wisprflow.ai) as an example. Not Wispr Flow’s own ad.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Yes. The ads and copy you make are yours to run, change and reuse in your own campaigns or your clients'. Make a separate project for each client from their link.

Yes. Each project is built from its own link, with its own brand kit (colours, fonts and voice) and its own competitor research.

No. They're ads Adwright made from three brands' public websites, one project each, to show how each keeps its own look. They aren't those brands' ads and say nothing about results.

Share the research behind it: the competitors, what they say, and the angle each ad tests. Adwright writes the research and angles down for each project, so the reasoning comes with the ads.
